The Democrats Abroad UK (DAUK) Women's Caucus spans generations and lived experiences. We are women united in advancing and securing our fundamental human rights both in the United States and abroad. We strive to influence and create a world where government and society guarantee gender equality, where women determine who they are, where they stand, and who they become.
We meet once a month in different venues in London. In order to fully participate in all activities, caucus members must be members of Democrats Abroad. But if you're not already a member, come along anyway! You are welcome, and can sign up online in minutes if you decide to get more involved. (Sign up now!)
We see the caucus as an advocacy group, but we also see it as a way to create a space where we can come together and discuss issues that are important to us and share experiences.
We have four committees:
Media and Communications
We are a relatively new group (we held our first meeting in early 2016) so we are especially open to new members. This is your chance to be in from the beginning and help us set our course!
